Dunglen Group Campground Overview

This group campground is located along the New River at Dunglen (across from Thurmond). This site requires a Special Use Permit. For a permit for the group campsites, contact the permits office at 304-465-6517.
Directions to Campground

Dunglen Group Campground is located across the river from Thurmond. From Route 19 in Glen Jean, take Route 25, following signs for Thurmond. At the bottom of the gorge, just before the bridge to Thurmond, turn right at the intersection. The group campsite is behind the picnic shelter on the left.
